We started Gloss Boss in 2023 because Adelaide didn't have enough mobile detailers who actually showed up on time, used proper products, and finished the job to a standard worth paying for. Today we're booked weeks ahead - because every detail goes home looking like the owner picked it up new.

The detailing trade is full of corners that get cut: rotary polishers used on hot panels, the same dirty wash mitt across ten cars, "ceramic coatings" that are really cheap sealants. We don't cut those corners - and the way we explain what we're doing on-site is part of the service.
- Fresh microfibre on every car (washed and stored separately).
- Two-bucket wash with grit guards. No exceptions.
- Dual-action polishers, paint-grade-specific pads.
- We explain what we're doing while we're doing it.
- Final inspection together before we pack the van up.

I started detailing in my own driveway after I bought a 2015 Mazda 3 that nobody had ever cared for. Twelve hours of polish later it looked brand-new. Mates asked me to do theirs. Then mates of mates. Three years later it's a mobile crew running across Adelaide every day. We're still small - and that's on purpose. Small means I see every car before it leaves.
